Refund Policy - the basics

At Nuvala, we want you to feel confident in every purchase. Our patterns are created with care, expertise, and attention to detail. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help. This policy explains when refunds, exchanges, or replacements may be issued.

 

Digital Patterns
Digital products are delivered instantly and cannot be returned. For this reason, all digital pattern sales are final.
However, if you experience a technical issue—such as corrupted files, missing downloads, or access problems—please contact us within 14 days of purchase. We will work with you to resolve the issue and ensure you receive the correct files.

 

Physical Patterns
We accept returns and refunds on physical patterns under the following conditions:
Unopened Patterns
•     Unopened, unused physical patterns may be returned for a refund.
•     The item must be in its original packaging, in resaleable condition.
•     Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.
Opened Patterns
•     Once a pattern has been opened, unsealed, or used, it is no longer eligible for a refund due to the nature of printed intellectual property.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or refund.

Return Process

 

To request a return for an unopened physical pattern:
1.     Email us with your order number and reason for return.
2.     Once approved, you will receive return instructions.
3.     Items must be returned using a tracked service.
4.     Refunds are issued once the item is received and inspected.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was damaged or incorrect.

 

 

Refunds
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
