These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and the purchase of all Nuvala sewing patterns. By accessing or purchasing from this site, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and the specific licence attached to the product tier you select.

Nuvala patterns are offered under three distinct licences:

Nuvala Essential — Personal Use Licence

Nuvala Essential patterns are intended for home sewists and hobby makers.
Under this licence, you may:

• Print and use the pattern for your own personal sewing projects

• Sew garments for yourself or as gifts

You may not:

• Sell garments made from the pattern

• Share, copy, distribute, or resell the pattern files

• Use the pattern for any commercial or professional purpose

This tier is strictly for non‑commercial, personal use only.

 

 

Nuvala Africa — Professional Maker Licence (Small‑Scale Production)

Nuvala Africa patterns are designed for independent designers, tailors, and small‑scale makers who wish to sew garments for sale.

Under this licence, you may:

• Use the pattern to create garments for small‑scale commercial sale

• Produce garments in your own studio or workshop

• Sell finished garments directly to customers (online or in person)

You may not:

• Sell, share, or distribute the pattern files

• Outsource mass production or manufacture garments at scale

• Sell or transfer the pattern licence to another maker or business

• Repackage or modify the pattern for resale

This licence allows professional garment production, but not the resale or redistribution of the pattern itself.

 

 

Nuvala Gold — Premium Professional Licence (Strict No‑Resale)

Nuvala Gold is a premium licence intended for advanced professionals, ateliers, and designers who require extended usage rights while maintaining the integrity of the Nuvala brand.

Under this licence, you may:

• Produce garments for commercial sale at a professional or luxury level

• Use the pattern within your own studio, atelier, or teaching practice

• Create bespoke or made‑to‑measure garments for clients

You may not:

• Sell, share, or distribute the pattern files in any form

• Sell, transfer, or sublicense the pattern to another individual or business

• Use the pattern for mass manufacturing or factory production

• Reproduce, adapt, or modify the pattern for resale

Nuvala Gold grants professional garment‑making rights only.
